Bipin Sahni
Bipin Sahni is the co-founder of Paygrid Inc, a company focused on value creation and support services for SMB’s. Core offerings include Payment services, Cyber Insurance, back-office functions like HR , Payroll services.
Bipin is also the founder of Velo23 Inc a Consulting and Advisory firm based in Pleasanton, California, he along with his leadership team manage projects in Ai focused on Banking Financial Services segment. Prior to leading Velo23, he was the Chief Strategy Officer at Persistent Systems, leading the global Banking Financial Services & insurance business group. Persistent Systems is a global solutions company focused on BFSI, Healthcare life science and Industrial as verticals and Data, Salesforce, Security, Core IT modernization as the horizontals. His current is to focus on Sales and Strategy and building of key accelerators and solutions to support the customer needs in all the geographies.
Bipin’s past experience was at Wells Fargo & Co bank in San Francisco, where in his last role as an Executive Vice President, he led the Innovation and R&D group as part of the Innovation group. He successfully launched the Wells Fargo Startup Accelerator program, which was a vehicle for the bank to been knows in the startup community, during his time he grew the program from 0-23 companies in the portfolio. As part of his R&D role, which was focused on data and user experience along with identifying new business models for various segments.
He has led many key future state projects as part of leadership in the Innovation group, one of them being the Wells Fargo Wallet solution for Android along with the concept and build-out of phase 1&2 for Greenhouse product, which was centered towards supporting the underbanked/unbanked customers. He has 40+ patents in the banking and technology supporting banking and financial services.
Bipin has led many large technology initiatives both as BAU and Innovation related initiatives and led the data migration efforts for wholesale bank during its acquisition of Wachovia bank.
Bipin continues to serve as an advisor to several bay area and a few international startups. He graduated from D Y Patil University, College of Engineering & Technology, in India, and received his MBA from University of Phoenix.
